Why consistency trumps everything else

Let me get this straight.  There is no such thing as the perfect exercise, the perfect program or the perfect trainer.

Yes you read that right.  I own a gym, I train people, and I am perfectly willing to state this.

The road to anything close to perfection is something else completely.  It is called Consistency.  A good solid training program, performed over time, is the key to lifelong health, better sports performance or making the best of your physical body.  Stack regular training week after week, month after month and eventually, year after year and you will make the best of what you can achieve.

As Bruce Lee once said: Long-term consistency trumps short term intensity”
