You will in time, have the opportunity to become a self employed PT, working with us, and to take further CPD courses to become multi-skilled in all aspects of the gym floor offering a professional and personalised service to your clients.
You will complete nationally recognised qualifications including Reps Level 2 Gym Instructor, Reps Level 3 Personal Trainer, and have the opportunity for CPD courses such as Spin, Kettlebells, Circuits and TRX.
You will be working with our Training Team and Coaches as a general assistant – and once qualified to do so, will be heading up a few of your own classes and group fitness slots.
You will guide people around the gym, and ensure the safety & comfort of members and visitors. You will assist the day-staff in keeping the gym clean and tidy and safe. You will look after inventory of the gym and greet members and prospective members.
During quieter times you may be able to continue your studies and complete coursework.
You will be required to work 16 hours per week, at an agreed schedule that suits both you and us. Your training costs will be covered, and you will receive an Apprenticeship Allowance to help cover things like travel to work, so you earn while you learn. This is dependent on your age and experience.
You need minimum Maths & English GCSE qualifications, although if you don’t have this, it can be completed as part of your course framework. The minimum entry age is 16 with no upper age limit.
We will also give you practical and relevant work to do, to assist your portfolio.
As a gym that specialise in Combat Sports, this is a unique opportunity for the right person to get a valuable insight into the world of MMA and all the other combat sports we offer.
You will work with a friendly and supportive team, and get quality on-the-job work experience whilst undertaking your qualifications. So that you are ready for real work once you qualify!
You will learn about all aspects of working in a gym, and about the world of combat sports, including amateur competitions and grass roots promotions. You will learn what it is like to be self-employed and the challenges, rewards and benefits that brings.
